In November, Sberbank’s clients will have the opportunity to make micro-investments: it is planned to launch a product that allows them to invest in the stock market from 100 rubles. Natalya Alymova, Senior Vice President and Head of the Wealth Management Unit of Sberbank, said this in an interview with Izvestia.
“In November, we will launch an investment bank based on mutual funds in Sberbank Online. It will be possible to invest in it from 100 rubles. Next year, the application will add the ability to invest through an investment bank in exchange-traded funds. This is a promising tool for engaging clients in savings and investments, ”said Natalya Alymova.
According to her, at the same time, by the end of 2021, Sberbank plans to launch a new fund for venture capital investments (pre-IPO fund), as well as a trust management strategy for the Chinese market.
Starting in 2020, Russians began to actively invest in the stock market. According to the Moscow Exchange, the number of brokerage accounts of private investors has grown by 55% since the beginning of 2021 and reached 22.5 million by the end of August.
